Can I use my own video on my card?

Yes, but for that you will need to purchase a “Family Video” card. Of course, we will still add your logo — just email it to us. Contact us for more details.

Can I control the songs broadcast order on the card?

No, the songs are fed from a special content delivery network and are automatically posted every day — starting from December 14th to December 25th.

Can I view all the videos at one time?

Yes, starting on Christmas day until New Year’s Day, all of the songs will be accessible to the QRistmas Card holder (or website module viewer).

FAMILY VIDEO CARDS – FAQ’s

What if I want to send different videos to different people — not the same video on all cards?

We have a solution for you — we call them “Singles.” These are cards that contain one unique video QR code for each card (one video = one card).

What is my family or friends don't have a Smartphone that can read QR codes?

No problem! Inside each card is a private URL web address: http://qristmascards.com/2571. As long as they have a web connection and a browser, they can type in the URL address and your video will appear.

Can an iPad play my Video Card?

Yes, iPads can also read QR codes — you simply download a free QR reader app; then turn the app on and scan the VQR on the card’s cover.

Can I download the video, play it on my computer and share it?

No, we are streaming the video from our video cloud server. Just like other video-based networks (YouTube, Facebook), you do need a hi-speed Internet connection to view the video.

For how long will my cards be active?

We will host and stream the video content that is attached to your card (your video) for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. (So. you better wear a nice Christmas sweater.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

COMMON TECH QUESTIONS

Do I need a web connection?

Yes. Our system is based a video server that transfers information to your smartphone. Just like Facebook and YouTube, this is an online service and requires a hi-speed Internet connection to ensure the best download (from us, the administrator) and upload (to you, the viewer) experience.

What is your refund policy?

Unfortunately, because each card pack or card is custom-designed and printed, we cannot offer the traditional 100% back refunds. If there is a technical problem that cannot be solved, we will provide a refund for the cost of the cards.

Do I need a special smartphone?

The requirments are based on any Internet-ready device (smartphones or tablets) that can read a QR code.

 

Today, almost all smartphones and camera-ready mobile devices (iPad, Kindle) can read QR codes. The requirements are simple: you just need a QR Reader app (most of them are free). If you don’t have one, you can download a QR Reader app from the app store that is associated with your device. Download the app, open the app, and then position the QR in the brackets on the screen. Your screen will recognize the code, and instantly transport you to that destination.
